1999 Texas A&M versus Texas - Bonfire Game

Emotions were on high on November 26, 1999, just a mere eight days after a Bonfire collapse that killed 12 and injured 27, before an Aggies home game. The Big 12 archrivals Texas A&M and the Texas Longhorns met at a very sullen Kyle Field. There seemed to be peace and love in the heated rivalry as Texas held a campus blood drive and played the "Aggie War Hymn" on the carillon in the campus tower. Ja'Mar Toombs led the Aggies back from a 10-point deficit by rushing for 126 yards and two scores on 37 carries. The Aggies held on and won a tight one, 20-16. In 2019, ESPN ranked it as the 81st Greatest College Game ever.
